Williams says, "I've been having these set meals with 1,800 calories a day. But the problem is then I get actually hungry even after 1,800 I'm still starving. So I've been supplementing them with lots of chocolate and cake.
"It's getting tougher and tougher to get the weight off now that I'm getting older. But there's a triathlon in Los Angeles coming up so I'm going to do it with the missus I definitely need to do something."

Singer Robbie Williams is rejoining British band Take That and they have been secretly recording a new album to be released in November, the British group announced on Thursday.

The boy band dominated the British pop scene in the 1990s before Williams left in 1995 and went on to have a successful solo careeer.

The remaining members of Take That disbanded in 1996 but reformed five years ago and have since enjoyed three number one singles and two successful tours, while Williams' solo work appears to have lost impetus.
TV stations showed the first pictures of Williams and the group reunited and band member Mark Owen said he was delighted.
"Getting the five of us to be in a room together, although always a dream, never actually seemed like becoming a reality," Owen said.
"Now the reality of the five of us making a record together feels like a dream.
"It?s been an absolute delight spending time with Rob again."
The band are due to release a new single, "Shame", co written by Williams and Gary Barlow, in October, before the album goes on sale in time for the lucrative Christmas period.

Williams said: “I'm very honoured to be asked to contribute to the single. We can all do something to help the people of Haiti - and I urge everyone to do what they can.”

Fifty per cent of proceeds from the single will go to Helping Haiti, a fund set up by The Sun , and the rest to the Disasters Emergency Committee.

The single comes after a flurry of celebrity support for the victims of the January 12 earthquake that killed an estimated 200,000 people and left around 1.5 million homeless in and around Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince.

Last Friday’s Hope for Haiti Now telethon hosted by MTV, and broadcast across 60 networks, saw the likes of Rihanna, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Bono, Madonna, Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and Stevie Wonder performing during a live link-up between London, New York, Los Angeles and Haiti.

The Mirror quoted “a source” as saying: “He is back with Take That in the studio and they’re all writing together again. Robbie wouldn’t be glad performing old Take That songs that he has had no part in.
“But if they can pen new tracks that they’re all glad with, they’ll record them and he’ll be back with them on stage.”
But this afternoon, the band’s spokesperson, Richard Dawes, cast doubt on the latest in a long line of reunion results.
All five were in New York for band member Mark Owen’s stag night, he said, and the studio was not booked for a recording session.
“They were there approving mixes for a live album that’s due out at the end of November.”
Williams, he said, had likely popped in to have a listen.
Reunion rumours have surfaced and receded repeatedly since 2007 when Williams and frontman Gary Barlow put more than a decennary of acrimony aside and revived their friendship.
Williams, who is about to release his first album in three years, has done little to discourage the endless speculation by reguarly flirting with the idea of a reunion in interviews.
Earlier this month, he said he would “really like” to work with the band now that old rifts, which saw the pair dissolve before reforming without him, had been healed.
In a radio interview with Chris Moyles, he said: “I was with (Take That frontman) Gary Barlow a couple of weeks ago and we watched the whole (Take That tour) gig together at mine and I just thought it's one of the best gigs I have ever seen,” he said.
"It was an amazing gig and I loved it."
Asked if it felt weird to look his former bandmates performing, he replied "Not actually.”
"It made me want to be with them in the band."
Williams saw his career stall while Take That enjoyed a second round of success without him. After leaving the band, he built an enviable career, racking up eight No 1 albums and six chart topping singles, while the pair dissolved. However when Take That regrouped without Williams in 2005, they found widespread success just as their former bandmate’s album, Rudebox, garnered poor reviews and failed to produced any chart conquering singles.
After three years away from the music industry, Williams will release Reality Killed the Video Star on November 9.

Robbie Williams will make his full UK live return next month.
The 'Bodies' singer will perform his first British concert in three years at London's Roundhouse on October 20 as part of the BBC's Electric Proms series of concerts.
During his set, which will see the former Take That star backed by a full band and a string and trump section, Robbie plans to showcase new tracks from his outgoing album 'Reality Killed The Video Star'.
The gig will be produced by Trevor Horn, who worked with Robbie on the record.
Robbie said: "I'm looking forward to playing my new songs, working with Trevor Horn again and looking how people action to what I've been doing."
Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning (23.09.09) at 8am, priced £25.
Also appearing at this year's Electric Proms are Dizzee Rascal, Doves, Magazine, Florence and The Machine, Metronomy and Smokey Robinson.
