X FACTOR: ROBBIE WILLIAMS TIPPED TO REPLACE DANNII MINOGUE

COMEBACK king Robbie Williams is tipped to join The X Factor judging panel - and replace Dannii Minogue.
Self-confessed fan of the hit reality TV talent contest, Robbie Williams performed twice on The X Factor last year.

And now he looks set to becoming a more permanent fixture, by joining Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh on the panel.

Pregnant Dannii Minogue - who he is rumoured to be replacing - will be giving birth to her first child.

But the 36-year-old Angels singer is not the only celebrity believed to be in the running for the job.

Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul, Boyzone's Ronan Keating and ex Spice Girl Mel B have all been mentioned.

10Robbie Williams Pokes Fun At Mark Owen’s Cheating

Robbie Williams joked about Mark Owen’s cheating ways during an intimate show in London last night (March 18).
The singer, whose own career has been blighted by drug and alcohol problems, said it was a “surprise” that he wasn’t the one to attract negative headlines.
Shortly before launching into ‘Bodies’, Williams joked: “This is going to be one of the best nights of my life, do you know, it’s nice to be one of the only ones out of Take That not in trouble this week. That’s a surprise isn’t it?!”
Williams was later booed by a section of the crowd when he quipped: “I’ll look like Mark Owen by the time I come off… I shouldn’t have said that, should I?”
The competition winners only show was organised by Heart Radio as part of the Heart Love Music Live series.

Robbie Williams and Take That reunion on hold as Mark Owen battles issues in rehab

The reunion between Robbie Williams and Take That has been postponed as Mark Owen battles his problems in rehab.
The band had booked a recording studio in Wiltshire last weekend, but it was cancelled after Owen's wife Emma kicked him out over his 10 affairs.
Owen, 38, who is receiving help for issues with booze, drugs and depression while at the clinic, has been told by the band he can take as much time out as he needs.
A source said: "They were all heading down there, Robbie included, but the plan has been scrapped for now. All they care about is Mark at the moment and it wouldn't feel the same all of them practising for their comeback without him."

Robbie Williams Kept On A Strict Excercise Regime

Ayda Field has reportedly forced the singer to hire a trainer so he can shed the pounds he has piled on in recent years. She hopes a new toned physique will inspire Robbie to finally set a wedding date, something he has been resisting.

"Robbie is training hard,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “He is enjoying it and wants to do Ayda proud. She's putting pressure on him to shape up and set a wedding date."

Ayda is so desperate for Robbie to work out, she has even offered to babysit the personal trainer’s child so he can do extras sessions with the star. She often looks after the tot while Robbie is exercising in his Los Angeles home, and the experience has left her even more keen to start a family of her own.

"Her clock is ticking, she's all maternal," the source added.

Robbie Williams asked Ayda to marry him in January and is said to be considering tying the knot on Valentine’s Day next year.
