Artificial Life Develops Robbie Williams iPhone Game

LOS ANGELES, BERLIN and HONG KONG, Sept. 22, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE), today announced an agreement to produce an interactive game application for Robbie Williams, the multi-BRIT-Award-winning music artist, on the iPhone and iPod touch platform. The application will feature Robbie Williams' new music from the forthcoming album "Reality Killed the Video Star" and incorporate cutting edge 3D game play of the rally driving game genre. The launch date of the title is tentatively scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2009, pending approval. The artist is releasing the mobile game in parallel to the new album, which features the music and key visual theme of the record.
Being voted as the greatest artist of his time, Robbie Williams amassed more than 55 million worldwide album sales, the most BRIT Awards in history as well as a Guinness World Record for selling 1.6 million tickets in a single day. He has appeared on the list of the all time Top 1000 biggest selling albums in the United Kingdom six times and was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004. His everlasting albums include Life Thru a Lens (1997), I've Been Expecting You (1998), Sing When You're Winning (2000), Swing When You're Winning (2001), Escapology (2002), Intensive Care (2005), and Rudebox (2006). The new album "Reality Killed the Video Star" will be released on November 9 worldwide on Virgin Records.
"We are honored to have been chosen to work on this game application for Robbie Williams. His rather unconventional style lends itself well to different game genres and will allow us to produce a fun game. Production has started and we intend to launch the game around the launch date of Robbie Williams' new album "Reality Killed the Video Star" in November this year on the iPhone platform," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
